Earning a Red Petal - Self Defense

On the 8th, the girls earned their Red Petal. We had a Jiujitsu demonstration and the girls learned about "Stranger Danger," what to do when a stranger approaches them: Run, Yell, Tell, and basic self defense. Parents were involved as well!

Troop 62 Zumba Night

We had so much fun dancing and getting a good workout. Laiza, from World Gym came to teach us and the girls. She invited the girls to dance with her on stage and I'm sure everyone slept good that night! Everybody danced and had a good time and hopefully, we can get more people and host another event!

Daisy Investiture

The girls finally received their Daisy pins on the uniforms and are officially Daisy Girl Scouts. It was nice to see all the girls in the Daisy shirts and Tunics and to see them open their gifts.
